Legal bases (EEA, UK, and Switzerland)

  • Contract — to provide the service you sign up for, including account management and billing.
  • Legitimate interests — to secure and improve BillBridge, prevent fraud, and support users, balanced against your rights.
  • Consent — for non-essential cookies, analytics, and personalized advertising. You may withdraw consent at any time via Cookie settings.
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose data to comply with law.

Advertising and Google AdSense

BillBridge displays advertisements through Google AdSense on the free plan and on public marketing pages. Paid Pro and Business subscribers receive an ad-free experience within the dashboard.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to BillBridge or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to BillBridge and/or other sites on the Internet.

These partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, device identifiers, or similar technologies to deliver and measure advertising. Third parties may place and read cookies on your browser, or use web beacons or IP addresses to collect information as a result of ad serving on our site.

If you decline non-essential cookies, ads may still appear in non-personalized form where permitted. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. For more information about how Google uses data from partner sites, see How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps. See our Cookie Policy for a full breakdown.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies for authentication and security, analytics cookies to understand product usage (Google Analytics), and advertising cookies when ads are shown (Google AdSense). Third parties may also set cookies when you use integrated services such as authentication or payments.

You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via our cookie banner or Cookie settings on our Cookie Policy page.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share or sell personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law. We share data only with infrastructure and service providers required to operate BillBridge (for example hosting, authentication, email delivery, analytics, advertising, and payment processing), and when required by law. See our Security page for the providers we rely on.

International transfers

We use service providers that may process data in the United States and other countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by our providers.

Retention and security

We retain account and business records while your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, or security purposes — typically up to seven years for billing records where required. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to our providers' policies and your cookie choices. We use industry-standard safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may access, update, or delete much of your account data from within the app. To request account deletion or a copy of your data, contact [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request".

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion or correction, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To exercise your rights, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy request". We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by law. You may use an authorized agent where permitted.

Children's privacy

BillBridge is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

In the EEA and UK, we do not knowingly offer the service to children under 16 without appropriate consent.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be notified through the service or by email where appropriate.
